I design and operate Ruby on Rails backend API services end to end—API design, background jobs, and production reliability—so other systems and developers can depend on them.

At Tucows (Remote, Toronto), I’ve worked on an event-driven platform with Rails, Kafka, and RabbitMQ, built third-party integrations (including Verizon), and owned incident response as part of an internal incident team.

I’ve also migrated legacy systems to Sidekiq and MongoDB, refactored API endpoints for efficiency and maintainability, and delivered large-volume ingestion and reporting pipelines running 2M+ records per run.
