What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can apply plant taxonomy, biotechnology, and microbiology skills to analyze bioactive compounds, support lab research, and communicate results through clear scientific writing and presentations.

I’m a Botany graduate with an M.Sc. in Botany and a strong foundation in plant identification and classification. I’m comfortable using dichotomous keys, preparing herbarium sheets, and naming new species using ICN rules.

In my PG project, I investigated herb-herb interactions by analyzing Rasonadi Kashayam, an Ayurvedic polyherbal decoction. I prepared aqueous and ethanolic extracts of individual herbs, paired combinations, and the complete formulation, then used phytochemical screening and advanced analytical tools to understand the compounds involved.

My work also strengthened my biotechnology and microbiology skills. I built basic experience with tissue culture and protoplast isolation, and in microbiology I can handle and grow microbes while supporting studies related to plant diseases and the role of helpful microbes in farming and industry.

I communicate clearly through scientific writing and presentations, using MS Word for research documents and MS PowerPoint for academic and research visuals. I bring strong time management, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving to every lab task and deliverable.
