At Baylor Clinic Swaziland, I provide psychosocial support to adolescents with HIV/AIDS and TB and their families. I worked on the Umliba project, which ended in 2019, and I'm currently working under the ongoing UNICEF project supporting adolescents and caregivers, including through the U-report SMS platform.
My work includes treatment adherence counseling, psychiatric assessment, and support for patients and caregivers. I also coordinate adolescent support groups and facilitate disclosure to partners, family members, and friends.
I participate in clinic research and was awarded funding to implement a study on how disclosure affects the mental health of young people living with HIV. I also contribute to project training, budgeting, implementation, and monthly reporting.
