What I'm looking for

I'm looking for a remote role where I can contribute to meaningful projects in education, health, or advocacy. I value flexibility, purpose-driven work, and opportunities to grow while making a real impact.

I'm Lexa Upile Kalilombe, a Social Worker and Community Development Practitioner currently working as a primary school teacher. I’m passionate about using education, advocacy, and community-based programs to drive meaningful change, especially in underserved areas. With a degree in Social Work from St. John The Baptist University and hands-on experience at FHI360, I’ve worked on behavior change campaigns, mental health awareness, and youth mentorship projects in Malawi.

I bring strong skills in communication, research, data collection and analysis, lesson planning, and community mobilization. I’m also experienced in creating safe and engaging learning environments for young children. I work well independently, stay organized, and take initiative to solve problems and improve outcomes.

I'm looking for remote opportunities where I can support impactful projects in education, health, advocacy, or research. I'm especially drawn to roles that value empathy, inclusion, and practical grassroots experience.
