Le Tri Luan
@letriluan
AI/ML researcher at Australian Institute for Machine Learning who achieved 0.933 mAP@0.5 with multimodal object detection.
What I'm looking for
At the Australian Institute for Machine Learning, I designed comparative Python and PyTorch experiments for visible, infrared and multimodal object detection. Probabilistic late fusion achieved 0.933 mAP@0.5; I also examined failure cases and documented the methods and limitations.
I built an AI-powered database chatbot using Python, FastAPI and LangGraph, with SQL safeguards and automated offline evaluation checks. The project includes 161 automated tests to help identify failures and support reproducibility.
At Altera Digital Health, I validated healthcare reporting outputs against legacy systems and contributed to C#/.NET APIs and React/TypeScript reporting features. As a Teaching Assistant at The University of Adelaide, I supported Mathematics for Data Science tutorials and helped students work through mathematical reasoning and Python exercises.
