What I'm looking for

I'm looking to apply my health informatics, clinical research, data cleaning, and data analytics skills to improve healthcare workflows, patient safety, and evidence-based outcomes.

George Mason University Alumni with a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Educational Psychology, as well as a master's degree in Health Informatics as a Data analyst.

Currently working as a Virtual Patient Safety Associate (VPSA) to help ensure the safety of patients from their own actions and from others. A year later, I was promoted to Charge, helping to improve and coordinate with other team members remotely across multiple hospitals, as I enforced the INOVA policy. Not only do I know how to use Excel to maintain and control my camera counts, but I also know how to use the new Caregility application to help monitor the patients, as well as the Epic limited system to gather patient information such as their nurses, Clinical Techs, unit numbers, patients' device location, and where they are going to be transferred to.

I thrive as a collaborative team member and mentor, dedicated to supporting, enhancing, and building connections with customers, colleagues, and patients.

I only hope to achieve and exceed expectations, no matter the task. When it comes to work or school, I want to be able to master and expand my experience as a person as I continue to grow. To be able to contribute at a level that can impact the community, and maybe even more when the opportunity is available.
