What I'm looking for

I'm looking to expand my impact in a growth-stage organization or corporate environment where technical depth, team leadership, and process excellence are valued. I want scale, complexity, and the opportunity to build a sustainable finance function that supports strategic growth.

At Balobi Trading Group, I lead finance across a 50-entity conglomerate spanning vessels, manufacturing, trading, export, logistics, and trust structures. I built and operate consolidated monthly reporting, reconcile complex intercompany balances, authorize payroll, and provide financial insight directly to the CEO, COO, and Exco.

Previously, as Senior Accountant at Balobi Trading, I designed a live operational budget framework, owned month-end close, built internal controls and SOPs, managed VAT and payroll compliance, and established the Cape Town division’s reporting and employee systems from the ground up.

I build capable finance teams through hands-on coaching, clear ownership, and early problem-solving. I’m completing CIMA Management Level and bring practical experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow modelling, automation, and scalable finance processes.
