I'm open to remote SQL Server development and technical leadership work focused on high-volume enterprise databases, performance optimization, ETL, and modernizing data platforms.

As a database developer with more than 20 years of experience building and optimizing enterprise systems — the last decade focused on the Microsoft data stack — I'm excited by the opportunity to bring deep SQL Server expertise to your team while continuing to grow into new technologies.

The core of my career has been hands-on development. I've spent years writing and tuning T-SQL — stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, complex queries, and indexing strategies — and optimizing the performance of high-volume systems that serve large-scale clients. In my current role as Lead SQL Developer, I own database design and lead the build of a next-generation platform, work that spans analyzing and modernizing legacy code as well as architecting new solutions from the ground up. I take pride in writing reliable, performant code and leaving systems better than I found them.
