What I'm looking for

Seeking a role to apply data engineering expertise in building scalable architectures, mentoring, and leading in collaborative, international teams. I value autonomy, best practices, and cloud-native/hybrid environments, with a strong track record in distributed, self-managed teams.

I'm absolutely passionate about technology in general, and about software development in particular. During the last ten years I have been specializing myself in data engineering, defining architectures and models to answer the challenges that big information systems are proposing nowadays.

Currently I work for an important fintech, leading the data ingestion from many data sources to the company data-ware house in BigQuery, from change-data-capture tools (maxwell, debezium), event-driven datasets and external sources like Salesfore and Zendesk. We manage a very demanding streaming ingestion system based on kinesis dealing with more than 120M events per day.
