Leah Valentine

I’m a dedicated childcare professional with hands-on experience as both a part-time in-home nanny and a daycare teacher. I focus on safety, healthy routines, and building positive experiences that help children thrive.

In my role as a Preschool Lead Teacher, I took care of 10 or more children under the age of 3. I maintained a healthy environment by wiping and sanitizing tables and chairs, and I used problem-solving strategies to ensure safety in the center.

As a Lead Float Teacher, I traveled from room to room as needed through the ages of infants–4k. That experience strengthened my adaptability, activity planning, and ability to support children and families across different age groups.

I also bring reliability from prior work as a housekeeper, plus a strong foundation in elementary education studies. I’m committed to a nurturing, friendly approach, and I’m currently building my credentials through First Aid, CPR, and SIDS certification.
