Larissa Gusmão
@larissagusmo
Product Designer at Nerdy (Varsity Tutors) who rebuilt a shared Figma design system and helped reduce design-related tickets by about 80%.
BrazilWhat I'm looking for
At Nerdy (Varsity Tutors), I led the day-to-day rebuild of a Figma library shared by three products, matching it 1:1 to the code and building it on themes. After UAT, design-related tickets were down about 80%.
I also simplified the scheduler widget from 13 scenarios to two states over two releases; first-week session attendance was 78.7%, compared with 74.4% for the old widget. Working with the VP of Product on the path from purchase to first session helped reduce cancellations by 31%.
At Youper, I designed onboarding and paywall changes for an AI-guided CBT app, and revenue per download rose from about $1.95 to $4.70. I’ve also worked on conversational AI prompt design and safety rules, and bring seven years of experience as a bilingual teacher.
