What I'm looking for

I’m looking for hands-on opportunities in penetration testing and threat detection, where I can work in lab-style environments, validate findings with evidence, and grow into stronger vulnerability assessment and reporting.

I’m a Cybersecurity major student with hands-on knowledge of network attacks and analysis. I focus on penetration testing and threat detection techniques, and I continuously build practical skills through hands-on lab work. I’m especially interested in turning observable network behavior into actionable security findings.

In my ARP Poisoning & Detection Lab (MITM), I executed ARP spoofing using Ettercap inside a virtual lab. I also captured and analyzed Telnet traffic using tcpdump, then detected anomalies and validated MAC address changes with arpwatch. The goal for me is always the same: understand what happens during an attack, then confirm impact with evidence.

In the Port Scanning & Service Enumeration Lab, I used Nmap and Wireshark alongside Metasploit. I performed TCP SYN and full-connect scans, identified open ports on target systems, and enumerated running services and versions using Nmap scripts (−sV, −sC). On top of that, I practiced vulnerability assessment by analyzing exposed services such as SSH, HTTP, and FTP.

I hold the Certified Ethical Hacker (EC-Council) certification, along with Pre Security from TryHackMe and an “Introduction to IoT” course from NPTEL. I document my findings and suggest basic hardening measures, and I’m eager to contribute to teams that value learning, testing, and clear reporting.
