What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level role where I can build and deploy end-to-end ML systems—strong on tuning, ablation, and evaluation—while growing into LangChain/RAG pipelines and reliable, user-facing AI products.

I’m a final-year B.Sc. Computer Science student with a 9-month AI Minor from IIT Ropar, specialising in end-to-end machine learning systems. I’ve built three production-deployed ML projects from scratch: a spam classifier (97% accuracy using a Voting Classifier), an emotion prediction system with uncertainty modelling, and a collaborative filtering recommender trained on 1.1M+ ratings.

I’m strong in model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and ablation studies, with an emphasis on reliability and measurable performance (accuracy, precision, confusion matrix). I enjoy turning models into usable products through Flask/Streamlit deployments, and I’m currently deepening my skills in LangChain and RAG pipelines.

Book Recommender System

Built a collaborative filtering recommender on the Amazon Book-Crossing dataset (1.1M+ ratings, 271K books). Filtered to active users, built a user-item pivot with cosine similarity for top-5 personalized picks, and a popularity engine ranking 50 books from 241K titles. Deployed via Flask with pickle-serialized artifacts.

AI Emotion Tracker

Engineered a multi-signal emotion system using TF-IDF + user context (sleep, stress, energy) via sparse matrix stacking. Classifies 6 emotions with uncertainty thresholds (flagged <0.55, safe default <0.40) to prevent overconfident outputs. Rule-based engine maps predictions to actions. 3-way ablation. Flask deployed.
