I am a results-driven technical trainer and curriculum developer with a strong background in instructional design and community-based training. My expertise lies in translating complex technical concepts into accessible, user-friendly formats for diverse audiences. I have a proven track record of delivering interactive training sessions, authoring technical and educational content, and implementing curriculum in both public education and community outreach settings.

Currently, I serve as a Risk Communication and Learning Specialist at Jackson State University, where I develop and deliver science-based public outreach curriculum, including tornado safety programming. I lead training workshops for librarians, educators, and volunteers, ensuring that our educational programming aligns with public safety goals and evidence-based research. My collaborative approach has allowed me to work effectively with regional partners to maintain program consistency and report outcomes.

In my previous roles as a teacher in theatre, speech, and debate, as well as language arts, I created and adapted instructional content for performance-based courses and mentored student teams. My dedication to education and community outreach has been recognized through various awards, including the Jackson State University Journalism and Media Studies Media Law Award and the Holmes Community College Overall English Award.
