What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an Azure-first data engineering role where I can design reliable ADF/Databricks pipelines, support production workloads, and deliver secure data integrations and warehouse migrations using SQL and scalable ETL.

I’m an Azure Data Engineer with 5 years of overall IT experience, including 3.5+ years focused on Azure Data Engineering. I specialize in integrating and processing data for Azure Synapse Analytics and modernizing data platforms on Azure.

I build end-to-end pipelines in Azure Data Factory using Copy Activity and Data Flows, including triggers, automation, parameters, datasets, linked services, and control flow (metadata, lookup, IF conditions, web hooks, and pipeline execution). I also handle long-running jobs/queries using monitoring and troubleshooting practices.

I’ve delivered warehouse and platform migrations—moving on-prem databases to Azure SQL Database via Azure Data Factory, loading from cloud storage/external sources, and implementing secure data practices in Azure Databricks (including row/column/table-level access controls and credential management). I bring strong T-SQL data modeling and database development experience, with ETL/ELT support across large datasets in CSV/Parquet/JSON.
