What I'm looking for

I seek a clinical leadership role in community or substance-use services where I can lead service development, deliver prescribing clinics, support multidisciplinary teams, and provide trauma-informed, person-centred care while promoting staff wellbeing.

I am an experienced adult nurse and non-medical prescriber who currently leads clinical services in a community drug and alcohol team. I deliver person-centred care, manage clinical services, and run prescribing and detoxification clinics for complex patients.

My background includes emergency department nursing and specialist substance-use roles where I developed skills in triage, resuscitation, wound care, vaccination, phlebotomy, and a broad range of medication administration routes. I hold a V300 non-medical prescribing qualification and a Bachelor of Nursing.

In my current role I oversee clinical governance, controlled-drug management, KPIs, audits, service development, and staff teaching, supervision and line management. I also run harm-reduction initiatives including needle exchange, naloxone training, smoking cessation, and blood-borne virus testing and vaccination.

I am passionate about holistic, trauma-informed care and supporting people with long-term conditions and substance dependency to improve health outcomes, while promoting staff wellbeing and multidisciplinary collaboration.
