kingsley mutana
@kingsleymutana
QA Engineer specializing in exploratory, regression, and API testing for fintech platforms.
What I'm looking for
I’m a QA Engineer with 3+ years of manual QA experience in live, transaction-heavy environments. I specialize in exploratory and regression testing across web platforms and devices, focusing on catching issues before users do.
I test APIs with Postman and use browser DevTools to investigate defects through network traffic inspection. I document bugs clearly in Jira using structured bug reports, including reproduction steps, expected vs actual results, and severity classification—so fixes move fast and clean.
I also build reliability through automation and performance testing. I’ve created Cypress automated regression suites from scratch to cut regression time from 2–3 days to under 4 hours per release, and I run k6/JMeter performance scenarios (load, stress, spike, endurance) to uncover critical failure modes under real concurrency.
