What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can deliver strong patient care while supporting English↔Swahili translation and ethical research data collection—working in multidisciplinary teams with clear protocols, quality improvement, and community impact.

I am a Medical Doctor with five years of clinical experience, and I also bring professional experience in medical & general translation and data collection for research and programmatic activities. As a native Swahili speaker with fluent English, I translate accurately while preserving meaning, tone, and technical accuracy.

In my Medical Officer II roles, I focus on patient care, clinical documentation, and evidence-based protocols to improve patient outcomes. I have supported accreditation reviews, contributed to Quality Assurance Meetings, and helped reduce hospital readmission rates through discharge planning and follow-up care.

I also support research and community-level work as a Data Collection Assistant, administering questionnaires and conducting interviews in both Swahili and English. I collect, verify, and record data according to study protocols, while ensuring ethical conduct, informed consent, and confidentiality throughout the process.
