Kayla Hanson

At Yorkville Animal Hospital, I perform abdominal ultrasound and echocardiography services across multiple veterinary hospitals. I also partner with hospital leadership to improve workflows and staff development.

I lead a technician training and mentorship program and support practice growth through diagnostic imaging education and outreach. I develop educational brochures, website content, and social media resources.

I build relationships with referring hospitals and veterinary professionals, and serve as a clinical resource during emergency and complex medical cases. I also maintain controlled drug inventory and Cubex compliance.

Earlier in my career, I supported veterinary teams with patient care, anesthesia monitoring, surgery, diagnostics, and client education. I’m a Certified Veterinary Technician with an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology, a W.A.V.E. Certificate in Small Animal Echocardiography, and a Certificate of Proficiency in Small Animal Abdominal Ultrasound.
