I designed and built a prototype apnea-prevention vest for neonatal respiratory emergencies, using Arduino IDE coding and electrical circuit configuration. I also led a student team in testing and delivering the prototype within budget and schedule constraints.
At University of Toledo Medical Center, I recruited and guided more than 100 participants for a statewide clinical research study, complying with IRB requirements. I coordinated psychological and MRI testing, then organized, entered, and analyzed study data in Excel for Principal Investigators.
I designed and 3D printed an EEG teaching model that demonstrates montage pathways, programming LED circuitry to visualize individual montages. My co-authored research on cortical organization, acute trauma, and PTSD development was accepted for presentation at the Society of Biological Psychiatry Annual Meeting.
