What I'm looking for

I am seeking a challenging role that allows me to utilize my skills in React and Ruby on Rails development. I thrive in collaborative and innovative environments that foster continuous growth and learning.

I'm Kaung Myat Kyaw, or Barry for short. I recently completed a full-stack development course at Microverse, a remote software development school known for its pair programming and real-world projects. My journey from Maritime University to software development wasn't straightforward – the challenges of COVID-19 and our political landscape redirected me toward my true passion.

A top performer in math with the highest GPA in my matriculation, I transitioned this analytical prowess to coding, completing my boot camp without hitches. My commitment to the tech community is reflected in my 2500+ contributions to open-source projects on GitHub. Additionally, my roles in the Students' Union honed my problem-solving and communication abilities.
