Award-winning writer and poet shaping inclusive cultural dialogue.
What I'm looking for
I’m an award-winning Georgian writer and poet, with over 15 years of experience across literary production, editing, cultural programming, and research. I write across poetry, prose, and plays, and my work has been translated into multiple languages, helping stories travel beyond borders.
As Founder & Executive Director of Art & Society NGO, I led cultural, educational, and interdisciplinary projects focused on social inclusion, civic engagement, and civic dialogue through arts and literature. I designed workshops, seminars, exhibitions, discussions, and public cultural events, and I worked closely with ethnic minorities, vulnerable communities, and people with special needs—often through grant-funded initiatives on memory and democratic participation.
Alongside my NGO work, I’ve built a sustained freelance practice as a writer, poet, and publicist since 2008, contributing to literary journals and public discourse platforms. I deliver readings, lectures, and talks on literature, memory, identity, and civic engagement, and I collaborate on editorial and multidisciplinary literary projects.
Currently based in Munich, Germany, as a Writer in Exile Fellow, I continue my literary work in exile while developing international projects centered on memory, freedom of expression, exile, and cultural dialogue. I’m energized by cross-cultural collaboration with European institutions and literary networks, including my fellowship and translation-focused projects like “With Love, Elli.”
