Kathie Talcott

I am a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with nearly three decades of experience in various healthcare settings. My journey began at Shoals Community College, where I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and earned my LPN license. Since then, I have worked in multiple capacities, from assisting physicians in patient care to supervising nursing staff, always prioritizing patient well-being and effective healthcare delivery.

Throughout my career, I have developed a diverse skill set, including EKGs, phlebotomy, and chronic care management. My role as a Medicare Wellness Nurse at Athens Limestone Hospital has allowed me to focus on preventative care and patient education, ensuring that my patients receive the best possible support. I am passionate about fostering strong relationships with patients and their families, guiding them through their healthcare journeys with empathy and professionalism.

In addition to my clinical skills, I have been actively involved in community service, serving as a counselor and camp nurse at Camp Bluebird, a cancer camp for adults. I believe in the importance of giving back and supporting those in need, which reflects my commitment to holistic patient care.
