Forensic investigation and cybercrime analyst focused on digital evidence and community safety.
What I'm looking for
I am a forensic investigation graduate specializing in digital forensics and cybersecurity, currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Cybercrime Analysis at the Justice Institute of British Columbia. I combine academic training in evidence handling, OSINT, intelligence analysis and incident response with practical volunteer and staff experience in community policing.
At the Grandview-Woodland Community Policing Centre I progressed from volunteer to Office Assistant, supporting volunteer onboarding, community outreach and administrative operations while handling protected information in accordance with policy. I have completed 170+ volunteer hours and contributed to programs collaborating with local partners.
Technically, I am familiar with Windows, Linux and Mac environments, Microsoft Office, database fundamentals (Microsoft SQL Server, Access), and have introductory experience with Python, Bash, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I also hold CompTIA A+ certification and have academic exposure to mobile forensics, incident response and cybersecurity principles.
I am reliable, organized and comfortable working independently or remotely, with strong attention to detail, discretion handling confidential records, and a commitment to public service and continuous learning.
