Kareem Ali
@karmali0820
Quantitative analyst specializing in financial modeling, statistical analysis, and programming.
What I'm looking for
I am a quantitative analyst with a Master’s in Mathematical Finance and hands-on experience building financial models, automated data pipelines, and portfolio management tools. I combine strong statistical and programming skills—Python, C++, R—with practical use of Bloomberg Terminal and Excel/VBA to deliver data-driven investment insights.
My project work includes a C++ portfolio management application with R visualizations and a Python-based energy futures analysis pipeline that aggregated market data, performed normalization and regression analysis, and produced interactive visualizations to guide trading decisions.
I bring attention to detail from clinical documentation work as an Emergency Room Scribe and a commitment to reproducible code and rigorous analysis. I seek roles where I can apply quantitative methods to portfolio optimization, risk assessment, and algorithm development within collaborative, growth-oriented teams. I also have dabbled in hobbyist animation.
