I am a CPA candidate with hands-on experience in bank reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
I am proficient in QuickBooks, Profile Tax, Visual Tax and Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, IF formulas), and I adapt quickly to ERP systems such as Workday and Great Plains. I prepare Personal Taxes (T1), Corporation Taxes (T2), HST filings and WSIB calculations, and process payroll and month-end journal entries.
As a Staff Accountant I reconciled general ledger accounts, investigated discrepancies, prepared audit schedules and supported audit requests, and assisted with collections and legal documentation. I also volunteered for bookkeeping and tax-season support, posting entries in QuickBooks and using SAP for transactions.
I thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments, manage multiple files simultaneously, and communicate clearly with clients and team members. I am seeking an entry-level accounting/finance role where I can contribute to a dynamic finance team and continue progressing toward CPA certification.
