Karan Dhingra

I am a philosophy M.A. student with a B.A. in Philosophy and Mathematics, working at the intersection of rigorous reasoning and classroom pedagogy. I combine analytic training with practical experience to design learning experiences that strengthen critical thinking.

At Snorkel AI I created graduate-level problems in mathematics, logical reasoning, causal reasoning, and physics, and evaluated and improved training data for cutting-edge reasoning models (ChatGPT 4o and o1). This work sharpened my ability to translate complex concepts into assessable, model-challenging problems.

As a Texas-certified mathematics teacher, I taught 9th grade Algebra I to English-learner students and completed a 300-hour HISD ACP internship focused on classroom management and lesson planning. I have also served as an adjunct lecturer teaching global ethics and philosophy of film, a WAC fellow mentoring student writers, and a graduate teaching fellow for college-level moral issues in business.

I seek roles that let me design curriculum, mentor diverse learners, and develop rigorous instructional materials informed by both pedagogy and formal reasoning. I bring experience in classroom instruction, college teaching, content creation for AI training, and individualized student support.
