What I'm looking for

I’m looking to build on my experience in financial reporting and analysis within a finance function offering greater exposure to business performance, strategic decision-making and value-adding financial insight.

At Northern Marine Group Ltd, I prepare management accounts and performance reporting for a portfolio of vessel management clients. I analyse results and explain key business drivers and operational performance.

I also compare budgets with actuals, investigate cost variances and provide commentary to support decision-making. My work includes month-end reconciliations, journals and client payment runs.

At Azets, I conducted statutory audit fieldwork across a range of industries. I tested financial statement areas, reviewed reconciliations and supported audit planning and completion.

Earlier, I processed invoices and supported bookkeeping at NGL Accounting, and worked on settlements, reconciliations and operational risk at Morgan Stanley. I’m progressing through the ICAS Chartered Accountant training programme; all Knowledge Exams are passed, and I’m currently studying Data Analytics & Insights and Corporate Finance & Modelling.
