What I'm looking for

I am looking for an online data related job to work on part-time basis.

I am a BA degree holder in Economics from Arsi University and a master’s degree with Business Administration from CPU Business and Technology College. I have been working as Customer Service Officer for two years in Dashen Bank. Currently, I am working at International Rescue Committee being an assistant HR/Admin since November 2019. Being able to work in a bank I am well experienced with serving customers with integrity, loyalty and commitment with the skill to identify our customers and what they need from the service we offer. I have learned to be responsible and accountable for the action I take abiding the law of the organization in accordance with the unlimited wants of the customers’ ways to be served by taking some calculated risk in order to satisfy our customers’ wants while preserving the organization I am working for. The discipline we learn, the dressing code we get used to and the communication we had, the team sprit we had involved in will take once personality to the place which is better even in the field of other profession. These are the insights I have taken from the working environment I have been engaged with first, still a lot to learn and share as well. Hereby, in International Rescue Committee as an HR/Admin assistant I get familiar with the different essential tasks that a Human Resource professional will get involved with and administrative tasks. Being a focal person for all the personnel files enables me to experience with auditing and filing system both in hard and soft copies, timesheet collection and overtime preparation on HRMIS, preparing a purchase and payment order for office supplies and staff’s needs on BVA system, preparing and providing ID cards for staffs, tracking medical recipients and sending to insurance after checking all the legal and organizational requirements, have involved in CV screening and scheduling written exam as well as interview, cascade onboarding of new employees with providing the necessary files to be signed; hiring, promoting, terminating and transferring employees on workday system, preparing severance, certificate of work and different letters as per staffs request and approval of concerned authority. Besides, I have been familiarized with policies to accompany with in order to deliver the needed service and address prominent clients fairly and equitably including women’s empowerment and different operational and administrative tasks. Currently, I am working as Data Manager for a public health institute; working on data collection, entry, wrangling, analysis and visualization to provide insightful decisions. I am familiar with different statistical software such as STATA and Python as well as data visualization packages known as PowerBI.
