Justin Joseph

I’m a Backend Developer who builds reliable server-side systems for e-commerce, SaaS, and CMS platforms. I’m motivated by solving technical problems end-to-end—turning requirements into stable backend services and well-designed APIs.

Professionally, I developed and maintained backend systems for high-traffic products using PHP and the Laravel framework, alongside JavaScript. I built and integrated RESTful APIs to connect React.js frontend applications with backend services, ensuring smooth data flow and real-time functionality.

I’m hands-on with database management, handling connections, queries, and performance tuning for complex data operations under significant traffic. I also debug and resolve backend issues across projects, especially when integration between frontend and backend needs careful troubleshooting.

I enjoy working in Agile teams, collaborating with frontend developers, designers, and QA testers through sprints, stand-ups, and code reviews. I’m continuously learning—currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Data Science—so I can combine strong backend engineering with data-driven insights.
