What I'm looking for
I am a final-year Civil Engineering student at Universidad del Valle and a research member of the G-7 Research Group, focused on structural monitoring, reliability, and Digital Image Correlation (DIC). I develop custom DIC algorithms in multiple programming languages to enhance experimental analysis and structural assessment.
My work includes field and laboratory support for reinforced concrete experimental projects, preparing specimens, conducting tests with DIC, and modeling algorithms in Matlab for four-point bending and compression tests. I have contributed to a MinCiencias-funded research project evaluating structural reliability in reinforced concrete elements.
