Joy Musa

I am an aspiring accountant completing a Bachelor of Accounting at Kaduna State University and pursuing professional accreditation with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. I bring practical experience from internships and cashier work that sharpened my financial reporting and cash-management skills.

At the Ministry of Finance, Kaduna State, I worked as an accounting intern under the internal auditor on World Bank-assisted projects, contributing to planning, fund allocation analysis, auditing, and data streamlining for project reporting. I also supported the AGILE project with data modelling tasks.

As a cashier at Gemini Lounge and Restaurant, I managed daily cash and card transactions and prepared daily financial reports to ensure accuracy and operational continuity. These roles developed my attention to detail and ability to work independently and in teams.

I am proficient in Advanced Excel, the wider MS Office suite, and SAMBA accounting software, and I learn quickly. I am seeking opportunities where I can apply auditing, financial analysis, and accounting skills while continuing professional development toward chartered status.
