Joy Maele

I am a licensed counselling psychologist with over eight years of clinical experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy to adults and adolescents, particularly via telehealth. I specialize in assessment, individualized treatment planning, and ethical clinical documentation.

In my current role leading a clinical department at a rehabilitation centre, I provide structured one-on-one therapy, deliver interventions such as motivational interviewing and relapse prevention, and supervise counsellors and interns. Previously, I ran individual and group counselling and family psychoeducation to support client recovery and emotional regulation.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Counselling Psychology and a valid practising registration in Kenya. I am committed to trauma-informed care, crisis support, and measurable progress monitoring to improve client outcomes.
