JOY BERNABE

I've taught Kindergarten at The Indian High School in Al Garhoud since 2013, designing developmentally appropriate activities that make learning fun and accessible for young learners.

As Activity Coordinator for Pre-KG and KG1, I plan educational and recreational programs, support curriculum and activity planning, and lead camp and club sessions in English, dance, and music. I also help create smooth daily routines and contribute to school social media initiatives.

My earlier work includes teaching History, Social Studies, and Values Education at Malinta National High School, where I used storytelling, role-playing, discussions, collaborative learning, and inquiry-based instruction.

I've also managed a preschool, supported social welfare programs, and worked in customer service. Across these roles, I focus on children’s holistic development, strong parent partnerships, inclusive classrooms, and a solid foundation for lifelong learning.
