Joseph Thepa

I’m a software engineer trainee currently enrolled at WeThinkCode, pursuing an Associate's degree in Computer Software Engineering (expected graduation: December 2026). I’m building hands-on experience through WeThinkCode’s rigorous curriculum, strengthening my foundation in software engineering principles and practices.

My focus includes API Development, Maven, and REST APIs, and I’m actively expanding my technical expertise using skills like Python and Java. I’m motivated to collaborate with teams and apply my problem-solving abilities to challenging, innovative projects.

In my current role as a Backend AI Engineer Intern at FlyRank AI, I work on backend AI initiatives and apply tools and techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agents. I also develop with Node.js and use GitHub as part of my workflow.

Alongside that, I freelance as a contributor at Outlier, enhancing and optimizing large language models (LLMs) through evaluation and refinement. I rate responses and prompts, review tool executions for inconsistencies, perform code review, and rewrite bad responses to ensure accurate, high-quality outputs.
