Joseph Parker

I'm a creative video editor with over 10 years of experience turning ideas into engaging stories. Most of my background has been in filmmaking, where I've loved putting my own creative spin on projects from pre-production through to the final edit. That experience naturally led me into editing YouTube videos, educational content and social media, where storytelling, pacing and audience engagement are just as important.

I work primarily in DaVinci Resolve, with additional experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop. My work includes long-form YouTube videos, short-form social content, motion graphics, colour grading, sound design, captions and B-roll selection. I enjoy shaping edits that feel natural, keep viewers engaged and stay true to the creator's voice rather than relying on flashy effects.

Alongside editing, I also teach English online, which has strengthened my communication skills and given me a strong understanding of how to present information in a clear and engaging way for different audiences.
