At Inova Hospital, I compounded oral suspensions, packaged medications for inpatient distribution, and managed medication inventory and cycle counts. I also placed and retrieved medications in Omnicell automated dispensing units.
At MedStar Hospital, I compounded sterile IV medications using aseptic technique and USP 797 guidelines. I managed Pyxis units, handled controlled substances in compliance with DEA regulations, and restocked crash carts and anesthesia trays.
Across inpatient, outpatient, retail, and clinical research pharmacy settings, I’ve prepared and distributed medications, maintained patient and study data, and supported compliance documentation. I’m Nationally Certified ExCPT, HIPAA Certified, CPR Certified, and licensed in DC, MD, NC, and VA; PTCB is in progress.
