@joocunha4
C++ engineer at University of Minho + TU Eindhoven, developing open-source libraries and a real-time simulation library benchmarked 15–41% faster.
What I'm looking for
At University of Minho + TU Eindhoven, I architect and maintain open-source C++ libraries as a doctoral researcher in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. I built a Dynamic Field Theory simulation engine and developed a neuroevolutionary algorithm for robotic deployment.
My dynamic-neural-field-composer project is a C++20 real-time simulation library and interactive app, benchmarked 15–41% faster than the next fastest framework. I also developed neat-dnfs, a framework for evolving continuous-time neural-field architectures for autonomous robot control.
At DTx Digital Transformation CoLab, I was involved across the full development cycle of two CE-certified production robotic cells. Palmyra increased productivity by 7.11% while reducing ergonomic risk; AROMA used a ROS-based architecture for mobile manipulation, navigation, palletizing, and defect sorting via computer vision.
I enjoy solving problems through code, making things run faster with fewer resources, and writing code that’s readable and easy to understand. I’m eager to keep growing as a software engineer and bring that mindset to a team building software that matters, wherever in the world it happens to be.
