What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can own fraud/risk or decisioning models end-to-end—building evaluation and monitoring, performing failure analysis, and turning precision/recall trade-offs into reliable, explainable business outcomes.

I’m an Applied Machine Learning Engineer with hands-on experience building, evaluating, and operating fraud and decisioning models in production environments. I focus on reliability, explainability, and real-world impact—owning models end-to-end from data exploration and feature design through deployment and monitoring.

In my recent role, I design and run large-scale evaluation pipelines for generative AI systems, analyzing reasoning failures and improving multilingual performance. I identify systematic failure modes, data quality issues, and decision errors, then translate evaluation results into practical model and system changes that improve behavior and trust.

Previously, I improved loan fraud detection by ~18% through feature engineering, training, and evaluation on imbalanced datasets. I also build ML pipelines and backend services to support ML-powered user experiences, emphasizing observability, maintainable system design, and data validation to reduce false positives/false negatives with clear business impact.
