I’m an engineering leader with 8+ years building payments and banking infrastructure across high-growth fintech and commercial banking. I’m currently the Head of Application Development & Support at SunTrust Bank, leading a 14-person development and support organization while staying hands-on.
I designed and built the bank’s machine learning fraud monitoring system, scoring every transaction in real time with zero fraud incidents recorded since go-live. I also lead the National Payment Stack (NPS) integration and drive modernization by replacing legacy, hard-to-maintain APIs with maintainable, well-documented services.
Previously at Nomba, I shipped merchant banking, payroll, and multi-location enterprise products, including the Outlets feature and enterprise merchant dashboards on a platform serving thousands of businesses. Earlier, I led payment switching revival at ChamsMobile (ChamsSwitch) and built scalable microservices at Enterfive Inc, optimizing legacy performance to cut check-in times from 5 seconds to under 1 second.
