John Munene

I am a degree-trained pharmacist with hands-on experience in community and hospital pharmacy settings, having managed dispensing, stock control, and patient interactions across multiple pharmacies. I graduated in Pharmacy from Mount Kenya University and have completed student attachments in hospital environments.

At Medileen and PharmaPlus, I accurately dispensed prescription medications, processed online orders via Glovo, UberEATS, and WhatsApp, and recommended health, beauty, and wellness products to clients. I maintained inventory, coordinated stock receipt, and conducted routine audits to remove expired medications and ensure regulatory compliance.

During hospital attachments at Mama Lucy Kibaki and St Francis Community Hospital, I supported pharmacists with dose calculations, label preparation, medication delivery to nursing units, and participated in clinical rounds to observe and report on medication effectiveness. I used computerized systems for patient data entry and order processing.

I bring strong attention to detail, empathy, and a collaborative mindset to patient care and pharmacy operations, and I continuously expand my product knowledge in nutraceuticals, skincare, and supplements to better serve patients and customers.
