At Digitalk CXM, I redesigned the Workflow Automation Engine for an omnichannel SaaS platform. I introduced asynchronous processing, execution recovery, modular action handlers, and improved execution tracking while preserving backward compatibility; the redesigned engine became the default across the customer base.
I also stabilized a legacy campaign service that had recurring production incidents, then redesigned its execution model around an orchestration engine. Independent execution steps let each communication channel use its own processing strategy and improved throughput and operational stability.
Across critical backend services, I led incremental modernization to improve maintainability, reduce production issues, and support ongoing product evolution without complete rewrites. I also regularly participated in production incidents, using deep platform knowledge to identify root causes and make safe fixes.
Earlier, at Universidade Franciscana, I designed an internal deployment automation that reduced laboratory setup time from approximately one hour to around ten minutes. My approach is to understand the business problem first, favor simple solutions that can evolve, and prioritize reliability over unnecessary complexity.
