What I'm looking for

Seeking a challenging role in a dynamic organization that values innovation and leadership in software engineering and API management.

I am a dedicated and results-driven software engineer with a strong background in full-stack development and API management. Currently serving as a Software Engineer II and API Gateway Tech Lead at Stanbic Bank Kenya, I have successfully led the APIs team and developed critical projects such as the Moja Expressway system and the Kenya API Gateway. My expertise spans frontend development with Angular, Vue, and React, and backend development using Spring, Django, and Node.js.

Prior to my current role, I was the head of the frontend team at Adrian Kenya Limited, where I managed the development of customer-facing applications and implemented ERP systems for various clients. I also have experience in DevOps, using tools like Ansible and Terraform, and in CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Git.

I hold a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Nairobi and have a strong track record of delivering innovative solutions, including award-winning projects such as the Safaricom Mjeki system and the Digital Lending platform. I am passionate about leveraging technology to drive business growth and improve efficiency.
