I've prepared complex commercial litigation matters at Barakat & Bossa, PLLC, where I drafted pleadings, motions, discovery, and an appellate brief that prevailed in the Florida Third District Court of Appeal. I also independently tried a full case before a real jury and received the Summer Intern Award for completing the highest number of litigation checklist items.
Previously, I supported litigation and regulatory work at Van Ness Feldman, LLP involving electric utilities, real estate, and water rights, and assisted family law litigation at the Law Offices of C. Scott East. My work has included court filings, legal research, litigation calendars, document management, case preparation, and client communications.
I'm completing my J.D. and M.B.A. at St. Thomas University while building trial advocacy experience through direct and cross-examinations, evidentiary objections, case theory, and opening and closing statements. I also volunteer with the Florida Legal Immigration Coalition, preparing N-400 citizenship applications at community drives.
