Juris Doctor candidate and law clerk focused on consumer protection and rigorous legal research.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Juris Doctor candidate with hands-on experience as a law clerk in the Consumer Protection Division of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. I combine careful legal research with practical case support—an approach grounded in accuracy, clear writing, and evidence-driven analysis.
In consumer protection matters, I analyzed documentary evidence, consumer complaints, and investigative materials involving cryptocurrency fraud, unlawful business practices, and scams targeting vulnerable immigrant communities. I draft legal memoranda that evaluate statutory violations, evidentiary issues, and potential enforcement theories under California consumer protection laws, and I help deputy district attorneys prepare cases by organizing records, identifying litigation issues, and synthesizing concise case summaries.
My externship at the Legal Service of Northern California strengthened my ability to translate complex rules into actionable guidance. I researched housing, civil rights, and public benefits frameworks, drafted memoranda while managing multiple client matters, and conducted intake interviews to guide clients through overlapping legal requirements.
Beyond litigation support, I deepen my expertise through research on corporate governance and fiduciary duties in East Asian conglomerates, including board accountability, shareholder litigation, and proposed reforms to the Korean Commercial Code. As Editor in Chief of the UC Davis Law Review and a leader within APALSA, I’m committed to rigorous scholarship, strong communication, and public-minded impact.
