Jessica Newell

I create brand identities, packaging, layouts, and typography-led visual systems designed to tell clear, compelling stories. My academic projects include Wildings, a sustainable packaging concept, and Morning Bloom, a boutique coffee café identity for the Vancouver market.

For Morning Bloom, I developed the logo, colour palette, brand guidelines, drink and merchandise packaging, stamp cards, and brand extensions. I also created Heavy Stacks, an experimental display typeface with posters and real-world application mockups.

Alongside design, I bring seven years of coaching and program coordination experience from Gymtastics Inc. I managed programming for more than 300 clients, coordinated daily operations, and supervised and trained a team of 12 employees.

I'm looking for internship, junior, or contract graphic design opportunities where I can contribute practical, refined work within a collaborative team. I work independently, take direction well, and bring strong communication, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
