What I'm looking for
I have a strong foundation in Managerial Accounting with a focus on forecast accuracy and strategic decision making to achieve financial and customer satisfaction goals. I am an experienced executive committee member, responsible for presenting to owners in challenging environments and creating partnerships with operations teams to drive results.
In my current role as an Associate Director, Accounting Services at Loews Hotels, I provide direct support to the Accounting Services department in a shared service center, supporting 27 hotels and 3 corporate entities. My primary focus is process improvement for my teams to gain efficiencies and accuracy across Income Audit, Tax Filing, Fixed Assets, Credit Card reconciliation, Escheatment, Intercompany Accounting, and hotel balance sheets.
Previously at Marriott International, I progressed into leadership roles supporting all aspects of finance leadership during hotel turnover, adapting quickly to hotels with $40M+ in annual revenues. As Director of Finance, I led collaborative budget planning meetings to ensure owner and corporate targets were met while being mindful of operational needs.
I regularly increased forecast accuracy in partnership with operations leaders and strengthened owner relations through transparent feedback and thorough month end critiques.
