Jeremy Hill

I’m an accomplished Software Engineer with 15 years of experience designing and implementing secure, scalable software systems. I bring expertise in Java, Python, RESTful APIs, and full-stack development, with a proven track record in optimizing database performance and leading cross-disciplinary teams.

In my current role at Southern Ohio Medical Center, I design and implement secure software for patient data processing and hospital operations. I develop backend applications with Java, Python, and RESTful APIs, and I lead scalable systems that handle large volumes of healthcare data while improving overall system performance.

Previously at Glockner Enterprises, I developed enterprise web applications to streamline dealership operations and inventory management using JavaScript, React, and Node.js. I also built interactive dashboards, optimized database performance and reporting systems, and implemented automated testing and deployment processes to improve efficiency.

Earlier in my career, as a Graduate Research Assistant at Ohio University, I conducted research on distributed computing and large-scale data processing. I developed prototypes using Python and C++, published research findings in peer-reviewed computer science conferences, and used that foundation to explore and validate new computing solutions.
