Jennifer O'Brien

I am a motivated and driven individual with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of New Orleans, where I graduated in June 2022 with a GPA of 3.4. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in probability and financial mathematics, which I am eager to apply in an actuarial role. Currently, I am working towards obtaining my credentials as an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, with my first exam passed in November 2024 and another scheduled for September 2025.

In my recent role as an OPEB Actuarial Analyst at Watkins Ross Consulting, I utilized valuation software for GASB 74 and 75 reporting, gaining hands-on experience in actuarial data analysis. Additionally, my previous experience as a Supply Center Specialist at Tulane University has honed my analytical skills and ability to optimize processes using tools like Excel and the Nexus Sales Platform. I am passionate about solving complex actuarial problems and improving departmental efficiency, and I am excited about the opportunity for growth within a company that values collaboration and innovation.
