What I'm looking for

I am available for the positions of translation, transcriptions and data annotation. As a native Portuguese speaker with a robust background in both Portuguese and English.

After completing my undergraduate degree in Portuguese and English Teaching, I enrolled in a postgraduate program in English translation. In my additional coursework, I focused on translation practices and theories, terminology research, and corpus linguistics, as well as the translation of various text genres and subjects, which became a true passion. Also, I participated in a research project in collaboration with the University of Sheffield in the UK, where I contributed to building a corpus for programming machine translations, with a focus on achieving accurate idiomatic translations.
